The University of Hawaii and Apple, Inc. are sponsoring another eWaste Disposal day on Saturday, October 25. This program is open for Hawai‘i residents who wish to dispose of personal eWaste on Saturday October 25 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Residents may drive to one of seven drop off locations on The Big Island, Kaua‘i, Maui, or Oahu to recycle their personal end-of-life electronics.

There are several location on Oahu and on the neighbor islands.

Bytemarks Cafe organizes fund drive for public radio

Burt Lum and Ryan Ozawa, co-hosts of the best technology radio program in Hawaii, and a few friends will be manning the telephones for the Hawaii Public Radio Celebration 2008 fall pledge drive. The Bytemarks Cafe web site. The Hawaii Public Radio web site.

The time slot for the Bytemarks Cafe group will be from Noon to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 11.

Tune in, call in and make a pledge in support of Bytemarks Cafe and Hawaii Public Radio.

Burt and Ryan will be featured guest speakers in the afternoon session of Mactoberfest 2008 on Saturday, October 18. More information here.
