Spend the day working with renowned photographer Eli Reed. Reed discusses how a photographer observes and uses the immediate environment to create successful photographs. Topics include different ways of getting close to the subject matter, deciding on and choosing the correct lens/focal length, using light to help point the way, and learning to allow the imagination to add the special point of view that makes a photograph unique. Reed brings to the classroom broad experience in photography, journalism, and film.
Prerequisites: Please bring your camera and a way to download your images to a computer.
Lunch will be provided.
Olympus will have cameras and lenses you can borrow. [No charge but credit card and ID required for deposit. Bring your own capture card for loaned camera.]
