Hands on Workshop with Lorelle VanFossen

Called by some the Queen of WordPress Lorelle will share her knowledge about WordPress and related technologies in this full day workshop. Students will learn how easy it is to set up and manage a web site or blog using the premier publishing tool, WordPress. Learn about themes to quickly give a web site a new look. Learn about useful plugins to customize and enhance the user experience. Learn how to write content and promote your web site.

Lorelle will also give students with a peek into the future of WordPress. Version 2.7 is coming soon. She will also show how new Internet tools, such as Woopra, help you to manage and market your site with real time information.

Seating is very limited. Registration is required and the fee is to cover expenses of room rental, class material and lunch. Students will receive Lorelle’s book, Blogging Tips (see below). For HMAUS members $35; non members $45.
